North Shore Women in Business features monthly meetings to help North Shore women in business grow and prosper. Events typically take place the third Thursday of each month. In addition to monthly meetings, NSWIB also hosts a variety of other programs including Member Mixers, our annual Taste of Success event in May, Board Installation Dinner in October, and our Business Showcase event in November. NSWIB HistoryNorth Shore Women in Business was founded in March 1984 by Linda Morkeski. Linda was looking for a way to develop a network of businesswomen looking for business contacts.The first meeting 26 years ago was attended by 18 business women. Today the organization is one of the top women's networking organizations in the area with more than 100 plus members many of whom are actively involved in operations and activities. NSWIB is a non-profit organization serving the North of Boston communities. The Officers and Board of Directors are all volunteers. Officers and Directors are voted in by annual ballot in September. Officers hold terms of 1 year; Directors serve 3 years. President's CornerThank you to all who donated food at December's meeting for the Danvers People to People Pantry.
